Satan's Satyrs Discography. Release date. Lucifer Lives . Satan's Satyrs was an American band. Originally formed in 2009 in Virginia by the lead vocalist Clayton Burgess. The band's lineup as of 2016 included Burgess, Jarrett Nettnin, Stephen Fairfield and Nate Towle. Originally influenced by groups such as Electric Wizard and Black Flag, Burgress mailed a demo tape to Electric Wizard and recorded their first album Wild Beyond Belief, which began with Burgess performing all the instruments while still being attending high school. Satan's Satyrs are the brainchild of vocalistmulti-instrumentalist Clayton Claythanas Burgess, formed in 2009 in Herndon, Virginia, USA while Clayton was still in high school. Burgess was influenced by both punk rock and doom metal he has cited Black Flag and Electric Wizard 2 as favorites as well as drawing inspiration from 1960s & 1970s horror and exploitation movies. Afterwards, guitarist Jarrett Nettnin and drummer Stephen Fairchild joined the band. In 2013, Satan's Satyrs were invited to play the Electric Acid Orgy, an event curated by Electric Wizard's Jus Oborn at the Roadburn festival in Holland.
