Reviews (1)
He doesn’t make many records, but when he does they certainly make you sit up and take note. Clarke returns with another genre deify assault that mixes up techno influences with darkly treated vocals, in vogue filtered disco drops, breaks and basslines. Reminiscent of earlier cuts like ‘Red Three’ and ‘Southside’ this truly comes to life in Josh Winx’s South Philly Acid Pass which pays homage to that other great percussive driven classic ‘Let’s Start The Dance’. With the melting pot reaching boiling point when the 303s ‘n’ 808s take hold and your senses lose complete control. An archetypical remix that will be cited for years to come. Take the trip… it’s acid baby!
